Software that fits the way you work
Every OverRack system starts with the same core: live counts, locations and alerts. Then we build the screens and connections your business needs, and you own them.

What every system includes
Live counts by location
Every read updates the count for that rack, room, cage, truck or site.
Check-in and check-out
Tap a badge and an item, or walk through a reader. You know who has what.
Audits with proof
Every count is saved with time, person and reader, ready for auditors and insurers.
Low-stock and missing alerts
Set a minimum per item; get an email or text when it's crossed or an item goes missing.
Phone and handheld apps
Counts, searches ("where is it?") and check-outs from the reader or a phone.
Roles and permissions
Decide who can count, move, adjust or only look, per site.
Checkout counters that count for you
Put the items on the counter, scan a badge, done. An RFID antenna built into the counter reads everything on it at once and logs who took what. Shielding and tuned power keep it from reading the shelf behind it.
The same idea runs Uniqlo's self-checkout, where shoppers drop a whole basket in and every item is read (Impinj), and hospital supply cabinets that count themselves. We build it for tool cribs, supply rooms, IT desks and stores.
Connected to the systems you already use
Your ERP or accounting system stays the source of truth. OverRack sends counts and movements to it, and reads item data from it, so nothing is typed twice.
We connect to systems like:
Need something only your business does?
Calibration due dates, kit building, lot and expiry tracking, rental returns, chain of custody. Tell us the process; we'll scope the screens and quote it as a fixed project.
