The website

• No analytics scripts, advertising pixels or third-party cookies. The site is static and served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, page, time) for a short period for security.
• The calculator and the demo run in your browser. The calculator puts your inputs in the page address so you can copy the link; nothing is sent to us unless you send it.
• The request forms (assessment, starter quote, contact) send what you typed to our server on Cloudflare, which passes it to an email delivery provider that delivers it to contact@overrack.com; our server doesn't store it and logs only that a form was sent, not its contents. Your connection's address is held in memory for up to an hour to limit repeated submissions and isn't stored. If sending fails, the page opens your own email app with the message filled in instead.

When you contact us

We keep your emails, texts, form requests and call notes to reply and to prepare a report or quote. If you don't become a customer we delete them within a year. Records you share for a savings assessment (count sheets, payroll hours on count days, purchase orders, write-off reports) are used only for your report, kept with your inquiry, and deleted with it. Read-test items you post to us are returned to you.

The software

• Your account holds the item, location, count and movement records you put in, plus the names and emails of your users and the identity of enrolled devices. Each customer's data is in a separate database.
• Data is stored in US data centers on Cloudflare's platform and backed up daily. Alerts go out by email and text through a messaging provider that sees only the message and the address or number.
• We look at your data only to support you, to fix a fault, or when you ask us to. We don't sell it or use it for anything else.
• When the subscription ends, the account stays read-only for 30 days for exports and is then deleted. Ask earlier and we delete it earlier. Backups age out within 35 days.

Your rights

Ask us what we hold about you and we'll tell you; ask us to correct or delete it and we will, unless we must keep an invoice for tax records. Email contact@overrack.com.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it, and subscribers hear by email.
